Ark Receives Reduced Fine Following Early Settlement Agreement
Ark has agreed to settle a regulatory matter early, resulting in a reduced financial penalty, according to the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). The early settlement allowed Ark to benefit from a discount on the total fine amount.
The DFSA stated that without the early settlement reduction, the imposed fine would have amounted to $720,000 (Dh2.64 million). However, by cooperating with the regulator and agreeing to resolve the matter at an early stage, Ark received a discounted penalty.
