Mr. Pradeep Kumar Tripathi is a young, dynamic, and visionary Indian technocrat-entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and consumer electronics industry across the Middle East. Born and raised in India, he began his professional journey in 2000 with HCL India, laying a strong foundation in technology and enterprise operations.
Driven by a passion for innovation and business growth, Mr. Tripathi relocated to the UAE in 2002 and later moved to the Sultanate of Oman in 2003, where he is currently based in Muscat. He has played a pivotal role in establishing, expanding, and managing distribution and retail networks for several globally renowned brands, including Samsung, Apple, Nokia, Vivo, Xiaomi, Huawei, BlackBerry, Sony, Micromax, EPSON, HIKVISION, EZVIZ, Vodafone, and Awasr, across Oman, the UAE, Qatar, Africa, and India. His hands-on market engagement, including extended residencies in key cities such as Muscat, Sur, and Salalah, has significantly strengthened his operational expertise and business acumen.
In 2016, Mr. Tripathi founded Global Phone Technology (GPT), transforming his entrepreneurial vision into a successful business reality. Under his leadership, GPT has emerged as a trusted distribution and retail partner for world-class telecom and technology brands. His forward-thinking leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence have been instrumental in the company’s rapid growth and regional recognition.
Recognizing opportunities beyond the telecom sector, Mr. Tripathi diversified the GPT Group in 2019 into new verticals, including online retail, beauty care, fashion, and hospitality.
